A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Biography

I am a Puerto Rican copywriter, translator and content creator based in Los Angeles. 

It all began when I was 4 years old, in my Grandma’s house, when I opened the comics section of the Sunday newspaper and started reading out loud. My “mamá”, clearly shocked, asked: “Are you reading?”.

You bet your “café” I was.

Reading and writing came easy to me. That’s why I decided to study a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Journalism, and years later, moved to Los Angeles to study filmmaking. My work is a rich combination of journalism, copywriting, advertising and marketing communications. 

ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE

My Work

Since 2004, I’ve been working in the communications and marketing fields. First as a journalist, web news editor, radio news producer and publicist. Later on, I jumped into the world of marketing and advertising as a copywriter, copyeditor and English to Spanish translator and transcreator.

Building on that combination of experience, I’ve learned how to diversify the power of words to promote brands, write articles and press releases, develop and support marketing campaigns, write and produce TV and radio scripts, edit, proofread, translate, localize and optimize content for local and world-class brands.
